Director of Percussion Studies, Associate Professor of Music - The University of South Dakota Dr. Darin Wadley is the Director of Percussion Studies and Associate Professor of Music at The University of South Dakota. Dr. Wadley maintains a full studio of university students in Applied Percussion, teaches Percussion Methods, Percussion Pedagogy, Music Theory, Aural Skills, and Music Cultures. He also directs the USD Percussion Ensemble, Caribbean Coyotes Steel Band, and The Sound of USD Drumline. Principal Percussionist - Oklahoma City Philharmonic; Educator Patrick hails from Oklahoma City, where he now serves as Principal Percussionist of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Growing up, he aspired to play in a rock band, as many drummers do, which he did for a few years before continuing his music education. He secretly wishes that is still an option. Patrick received his Bachelor of Musical Arts degree with a minor in Education from Oklahoma Baptist University. First Extra - Montreal Symphony Orchestra Josh Wynnyk can be heard on a JUNO Award winning recording with Kent Nagano and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra with whom he currently plays as an extra percussionist. Josh is an ambassador to the National Youth Orchestra of Canada with whom he trained for five consecutive summers. Studying under John Rudolph, the former Principal Percussionist of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Josh graduated from the Glenn Gould School receiving a Performance Diploma with honours made possible by The Patrick and Barbara Keenan Foundation Scholarship.
