Our FMC is a sturdy universal clamp that will grip your 14- to 22-inch frame drum securely, yet freely enough to allow the frame to resonate fully! Machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, our clamp is designed to spread the clamping force evenly across a wide 4-inch length of the shell circumference. This assures that no damage will occur to your instrument, even if played vigorously. The ergonomic thumbscrew engages a rubber-covered flat spring that quickly and easily tightens and releases. The deep-milled U-channel is designed to securely and safely cradle most standard frame drums. One of the best features of our versatile mounting clamp is ease of use; it quickly screws onto any standard cymbal stand with an 8mm thread....
The new Grover Pro KeeGee™ is a 3x14" super-piccolo snare drum possessing unparalleled sensitivity and snare clarity. The "KeeGee" moniker is taken from the soft orchestral percussion excerpt from "Lt. Kijé Suite" by Sergei Prokofiev. As top percussionists know, this difficult passage is required material on virtually every major symphony percussion audition. Many students and aspiring professionals spend hours perfecting this important excerpt. With our new KeeGee piccolo snare drum, this work is easier to play and more fun to practice! Features include: 10-ply cross laminated maple shell Single-point mini tube lugs Non-spiral snare wires Grover Piccolo throw-off Triple-flange hoops High-gloss finish The extra shallow 10-ply maple shell facilitates snare response that extends down to ppp! Surprisingly, this drum also...
One of the most talked about products at PASIC was our new 3X14 piccolo snare drum. Named "KeeGee" after a famous orchestral work that contains a very soft and challenging snare drum part, this drum symbolizes the epitome of sensitivity and articulation!
Used by St. Louis Principal Percussionist Will James in his PASIC '14 presentation, this thin snare drum allows the player to execute the most delicate passages with finesse and grace. What surprised everyone was it's powerful bark at the loud dynamic levels!
Chalk up another great PASIC success for us! During the three days in Indy many percussive celebrities came to see us; Alan Abel, John Beck, Bob Becker, Rob Knopper, Arnie Lang, Mike Rosen, Gordon Stout, Casey Cangelosi and Bill Moersch, all stopped by the booth. Dame Evelyn Glennie came to thank us for her musical anvils. She raved about their sound, sustain and projection. The Cleveland Orchestra's Rich Weiner flipped when he heard our Bantamweight tambourines. "Perfect for soft playing", was his comment. Jason Aldean's drummer, Rich Redmond, asked for one of our new Studio Pro model tambourines. He said that they are used on many of Nashville's top records these days! Multi-talented percussionist Mark Shelton also raved about the...
