Freelance Percussionist
Gary Griffith is a freelance percussionist, self-published composer and educator based in southwest Michigan, USA. Lately gaining attention for his hybrid rudiment videos, and his book "The Hybrid Compendium" - in which he compiled, edited and categorized over 3800 hybrid rudiments - even writing over 2000 variations himself. The rest of his catalogue includes works for solo Marimba, Vibraphone, Kalimba and Steel Pan.
For the last 20 years I have exclusively used Grover Tambourines - specifically the beryllium copper and German silver, Woodblocks, and Triangles/beaters.
