World-renowned Percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie is the first person in history to successfully create and sustain a full-time career as a solo percussionist, performing worldwide with the greatest orchestras, conductors and artists. Growing up on a farm in the north east of Scotland, Evelyn became drawn to percussion as her hearing declined because she could ‘feel the sound’. At the age of 16 she gained a place at The Royal Academy of Music in London where she studied orchestral percussion and piano. Beth Gottlieb

Beth Gottlieb is a member of the Lt Dan Band with actor/musician Gary Sinise. They have traveled all over the world performing for veterans and first responders. She is an internationally recognized performer, teacher, clinician, and soloist, whose experience covers the entire musical spectrum. Residing in Nashville, TN, Beth is also a freelance percussionist in “Music City”. She has taught at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL, Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, and the Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, MI. Sue Hadjopoulos

Professional Recording and Touring Percussionist Sue Hadjopoulos was born in Queens, New York to a musical family. Her brother Chris Hadjopoulos is a drummer, her brother, Steve Hadjopoulos, deceased in 1991 played flute, keyboards and saxophone. Hadjopoulos studied classical flute for six years before switching to drums and percussion. She graduated magna cum laude in Anthropology at Barnard College, Columbia University and did her graduate studies at Mannes College of Music in Manhattan. Colin Hill

Associate Professor of Percussion - Tennessee Tech University Dr. Colin Hill is the Associate Professor of Percussion at Tennessee Tech University and currently serves as the Interim Director of the School of Music. As an active performer, Colin has been invited to perform concerts throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. He performs regularly with the BluHill Percussion Duo, Bryan Symphony Orchestra, and the TTU Faculty Jazz Combo. Associate Professor of Percussion - Colorado State University Eric R. Hollenbeck, Associate Professor of Percussion at Colorado State University since the fall of 2003, earned a Doctorate of Music in Percussion Performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in Percussion Performance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Percussion Performance from Kent State University.
