We're pleased to announce that Dr.Grant Dalton, professor of percussion studies at Samford University, has joined our list of leading percussive artists. Dr. Dalton directs the Samford Percussion Ensemble and Samford Steeland the university’s steel drum band. He is also the assistant athletic band director and teaches several academic courses. He is an extra percussionist with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, and he is the percussionist for the Birmingham Broadway Series and Broadway Across America. Dr. Dalton also periodically performs with the Alabama Ballet, Opera Birmingham, and the Birmingham Art Music Alliance. We are proud to welcome Andrew Proctor and Patrick Roulet have recently joined the impressive list of Grover Pro endorsers. Roulet’s scholarly work reflects his many interests within the broad field of percussion including classical, jazz, and world music. His research on the life and music of jazz vibraphonist Milt Jackson was selected for presentation at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention and was featured as the cover article for the February 2003 publication of Percussive Notes. His article, “Teaching the Marimba through West African Gyil Methodologies” (Percussive Notes, (July 2010): 16-21.) was based on his study at the University of Ghana in 2006. Amy Lynn Barber is Professor of Music and former Dean of the School of Music at DePauw University.
A native of Massachusetts, she lived for many years in central Europe (Prague, Ljubljana, and Vienna), where she was Professor of Percussion at the Prague Conservatory for five years, an active soloist and chamber performer, and a member of the Slovenian Philharmonic.
John Evans is the Principal Timpanist of the Naples Philharmonic.
Josiah Rushing just completed his percussion studies at DePauw. He has been a consistent winner of Depauw's solo competition.
We received an impromptu visit from percussionist, conductor, music educator and Apple Genius Bar Specialist, Fai Fai Ho. Fai Fai is a graduate of the University of South Florida where he studied with Professor Bob McCormick. He currently plays, teaches music in an elementary school and works part time for Apple.
Fai Fai is an avid golfer and lives in the Tampa, Fl area (a good place to live if you like golf!)

Soloist, educator, and composer Casey Cangelosi is writing a percussion work incorporating many Grover Pro products. He recently sent us a short except of the piece that demonstrates our new anvils.
He wrote, "Man, the anvils are freaking A M A Z I N G, I love them. They're just gorgeous, feel great to play, and respond incredibly to different mallets."
