Percussionist, Drummer, Educator Oleh Pakhomov is an orchestra percussionist, drummer and educator and has been playing music for more than 20 years. Since the age of 16 he has been working as an orchestra artist and performing as a soloist. Oleh studied at the Ternopil Music College and the National Music Academy named and has achieved a Masters degree in music. Principal Percussionist - Sarasota Opera Orchestra & Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra Andre is an active performing percussionist and educator based out of the greater St. Louisregion. He currently serves as Principal Percussionist of the Sarasota Opera Orchestra (FL), and the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (MI). Dr. Domenico E. Zarro

Percussionist - Timpanist Dr. Domenico E. Zarro received his B.F.A. in Percussion Performance from the Purchase Conservatory of Music, and his Ed.M. and Ed.D., with a focus in Percussion Pedagogy, from Columbia University. He was a scholarship student at New Jersey City University, Columbia University, and the Aspen Festival School of Music. His doctoral dissertation was lauded by the Percussive Arts Society’s Research Committee, and was featured in the 2004 Edwin Mellen Press release: Theory and Composition of Percussion Music by Dr. Geary Larrick. Michael Barnes

Southwestern Oklahoma State University A faculty member of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Micheal Barnes is an in-demand performer and educator. He is a member of Three by Radio, the 513 Trio, and the Barnes Duo. He has previously performed at the National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy, Percussive Arts Society International Convention, National Flute Association Convention, and the International Clarinet Association ClarinetFest. Micheal is actively working to grow the repertoire available to percussionists, having premiered and commissioned over two dozen works to date by composers such as Robert Paterson, Stephen Cabell, Zack Browning, Jim Loughery, and Joseph Harkins, among others. Dexter Dwight

Principal Percussionist - Miami (FL) Symphony Orchestra Dexter Dwight is currently Principal Percussionist of the Miami (FL) Symphony Orchestra and timpanist of the Miami Lyric Opera.  Previously he was timpanist of the Municipal Theater Orchestra in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  He has been professor-in-residence at a number of international music festivals in Brazil and has given numerous master classes there as well.  Dexter has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Seiji Ozawa, Leonard Bernstein and Klaus Tennstedt.  When not in a concert hall, Dexter enjoys playing golf, grilling picanha and watching any Miami Hurricane sporting event.
