Percussionist, Drummer, Educator Oleh Pakhomov is an orchestra percussionist, drummer and educator and has been playing music for more than 20 years. Since the age of 16 he has been working as an orchestra artist and performing as a soloist. Dexter Dwight is currently Principal Percussionist of the Miami (FL) Symphony Orchestra and timpanist of the Miami Lyric Opera. Previously he was timpanist of the Municipal Theater Orchestra in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has been professor-in-residence at a number of international music festivals in Brazil and has given numerous master classes there as well. Dexter has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and under the direction of Seiji Ozawa, Leonard Bernstein and Klaus Tennstedt. When not in a concert hall, Dexter enjoys playing golf, grilling picanha and watching any Miami Hurricane sporting event.
