Our R&D team took extra time to insure that our log drums meet the very high expectations of professional percussionists worldwide. We believe that professional log drums should have a darker and more resonant sonority than woodblocks or temple blocks. While maple is perfect for our woodblocks, and Baltic birch ideal for our temple blocks, we thoughtfully selected marimba bar grade padauk wood for the soundboard of our new log drums.
